Cannella handlebar riser for Fury
I don't know about anyone else out there but that stock handlebar stretch is ridiculous. They make a bike that's less than 28" off the ground but they put those grips way out in center field.
I found a great solution: The Cannella handlebar riser for the fury. It took less than 30 minutes to install. I sat back on the bike and for the first time my hands fell directly onto the grips! Freakin' amazing. I gained about 2" and now my back and shoulders don't tighten up on short rides.
The cost was $159 and worth every penny. It's made from billet aluminum and chromed. You can order it from directline parts

I’ve ridden with both of the risers and I preferred the Cannella’s both on feel and look. The Scoot’s just looked like two pipes stuck in there and did not match close enough to blend. IMO.

Please remember that everything mentioned below is my own opinion. I do not work for either Scootworks or Cannella Custom Cycles.
I wish that I had had more information other than a couple of photos before I decided to purchase either Fury riser. So I impart this to the undecided soles.
Scootworks:
I first decided to go with the less expensive route. This was to purchase the Skootworks Risers. A couple of opening notes. When the package arrived the riser package was already open so I was thinking to myself “oh no, they decided to send me the risers that had the big gap that someone had returned.” That was not true. But I should have inspected them better before I installed them because I found out after the fact that if they have been installed they will not take them back.
It was a pretty easy installation that went as the instructions stated, taking off the wiring looms, doing a few other items to make sure I had room to put the risers on. After installation (I should have stopped before the installation) I noticed that the chrome of the risers did not look as good as the handlebars did. They actually looked more like stainless steel. Not as shiny as the pictures on their website. I do not know why that is. You can see the difference in the close-up shots.
I was not satisfied with how high the handlebars were raised. It left a big gap between the headlight and the speedometer. If I would have realized that before my order I probably would not have ordered them. After having them on for about a week and driving my bike to work on surface streets I learned that it seems less secure or less like the original handlebars, like they were not as tight as the original. Also, if I were to take my hands off the handlebars at a light with the engine running the mirrors had a tendency to vibrate more than usual. It actually felt at times like the front wheel was vibrating up and down even though I knew it wasn’t.
In my opinion if I had to rate them on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best I think I would have to rate them as a 3
(that is just my opinion).
Cannella:
After not really feeling too well about my purchase decision with Skootworks I decided to give the Cannella risers a try. On a Sunday evening, I tried to order from the website but due to my ignorance could not figure out how to order them without going through paypal. So I called the office first thing Monday morning and got to talk with Christine Cannella. She e-mailed me and enlightened me as to how to order and said they would take care of me. Indeed, when I mentioned I would pay extra to have it shipped to me in three days they took it upon themselves to ship it
priority mail.
The package arrived in two days to my surprise and what a wonderful piece of hardware. This riser was chromed to match exactly with the existing chrome on the handlebars so when installed it looked like it was factory installed. Unlike the return policy with Scootworks Cannella wants you to be 100% satisfied, if not, you can return the undamaged item within 30 days. They even include a Return Form and shipping label.
I was very pleased with the ease of the installation and with the fact that I could return the wire wraps and the wire looms to their original locations (with the Skootworks I could not).
The ride with the Cannella risers has a little bit more pullback (maybe ¼ inch or so). But what impressed me the most about the ride is that it felt just like the original ride. When I release my hands from the handlebars at a stop the handlebars did not vibrant at all, just like factory. When I ride over a rougher road the ride is the same as factory which means a lot to me. But what matters the most to me is the looks, this riser keeps the bike looking more like the original but with a much more
comfortable ride. My rating for Cannella is, drum roll, 10!
If I would have known all of this from the beginning I would have started with the Cannella risers. Well worth the price.
Remember, all of this is my personal opinion and do not want to offend anyone.
If someone is looking to purchase the Skootworks risers for less than what they sell them for just let me know. I am probably gonna try to get at least $60.00 for them. E-mail me at tdmcpeck @ gmail.com (take out the spaces around the @).

Use the search function for more info. Torque is 41 lb-ft. Use lock-tight if you wish. U can order direct from Cannella also. This is a TWO MAN JOB, DO NOT try to install by yourself! The stars will be out tonight, don't forget to look up. Good Night.
