Default Remote terminal strip for accessories????

Anybody know a good source for a remote pos. terminal strip, fuse block, power distribution block or one of the many other names they go by??

Found pretty much what I want on Cruiser Customizing as a remote fuse block but their $45 seems way out of line for this little gadget.

All I want to do is run a single lead from battery to unit and then power my accessories off that unit.....getting too busy around the battery connectors.

Just checking for ideas

here's an article about this with some links to some cheap radio chak parts...

I'm looking for the same solution - my battery is a mess of wire!

This continues to be the neatest one I can find.

Unfortunately, it's the same price from the distributor, Rivco, as it is from CC. $44.95 You'd think after the thousands invested so far, what would be another $50 bucks or so, right

Thanks for your input though, guys!!!

Exposed terminals in the crowded confines under the seat are not the best plan .

Do it the 'factory' way with no additional space needed and use up the empty relay and fuse slots on your circuit fuse box . Standard Furys should have 5 empty fuse slots and one empty relay slot. ABS Furys have only 2 empty fuse slots and one empty relay slot. If you have already looked there you will notice that Honda neglected to put any wiring or pin terminal clips in theses slots . Easy solution lies at your local auto wreckers. I found terminal connectors for fuses and the two sizes needed for the relay, a small 4 pin relay and spare fuses in a 10 year old Toyota although I expect most Japanese vehicles are similar but they do change over the years.

No need to connect directly to the battery since Bat+ (constant) and Ign+ (switched) are at the circuit fuse box behind the right side cover. You can power source your new circuits by soldering a jumper wire to the existing 'hot' terminals in the circuit fuse box and connect to the new fuse terminals you install. One other tip is to solder (reliability) and shrink-wrap (insulation + weatherproofing) all new circuit connections outside the fuse box. In normal industry practice the center line of a fuse box is hot (power feeds from the battery and ignition switch) and the perimeter is fused but on my Fury it was random so this is a good time to swap out the connections so you know where your power is coming from .

The fuse connector and 'green' power port pics (switched cigar/GPS & battery 2.1x5.5mm) are attached below ...

Thanks for the info Senor Gar.....have to admit the fuse box was considered and scoped out, but a bit more complicated than I wanted to get into.

As update, found practically the exact fuse block device as I pictured above minus the lead to the battery at Advance Auto for $3.99

Here is the neatest solution I have seen to date. Just plug into your fuse box to get an additional fused circuit while leaving the original slot fused separately . Only caveat is the box cover will no longer fit but it is still more elegant that an auxiliary exposed fuse block stuffed somewhere.

Just Google Images "10A ATM Dual Fuse Tap" if your local auto parts store doesn't have one for around $9 .
