Default Stateline seems faster than Fury

I swear my Stateline feels faster than my Fury. Mechanically both bikes are identical (same Cobra intake and Cobra exhaust pipes) except the Fury has the Power Commander and the Stateline has the Cobra FI2000. The Fury was even dynoed to dial it in after the Cobra intake was installed. I have been riding the Stateline the last couple of days since the Fury is in the shop for the L&M triiple trees. Could it really be the fuel controllers?

If I can remember right you mention on another thread it was the new Cobra FI2000 Powrpro...Thank you...I rest my case!!!

The new technology behind that Little unit is great.

If you can spend the extra $$$...this is the fuel controller to buy!!!

I dunno bro....But, when I'm on the back roads( I live on the back roads)...and I'm doing 99mph, and bugs are hitting me in the face, and my eyes are vibrating so much I cant see very well, and every time I go over a rise and my ass come outta the seat( along with my feet in the air!)...I just dont know what can feel any faster than that!!..I would slow down but I have such a grip on the throttle that i cant let off the gas till I land back on the pegs and seat!!!..Give the Fury more throttle and hit the back roads!!..I bet if somebody filmed you, you would look like a cartoon character!!! I know I do!

How's it feel faster? On top end,off the line? Could it be the air drag difference in the styles? I test road the Stateline - Fury & Sabre all stock 2011s and didn't feel a noticeable difference in speed or power just comfort & style?

There are a bunch of riders who have upgraded to the PowrPro on the Suzuki M109 forums reporting similar gains along with improved gas mileage .

I dont know about top end but 0-80 seems faster on the Stateline, I also notice the Stateline starts easier when cold or sitting for days. Its funny but the Stateline gets its share of looks/comments too, its not the Fury's homely sister.

Having the 2 bikes is like a polygamist marriage, I walk out into the garage and the gal that turns me on that day gets ridden.

Default Hmmmm

Hmmm... "seems" faster?

Well I don't know about your "Seems" faster thing... but what It SEEMS to me is you look "cooler" or in this case, you "look faster" on a Fury, than you do/would on a Stateline.

But the "polygamist" comment is hilarious... I'd like to see if I could do that... Fury or Stateline, Lisa or Brenda, Chevelle or Camaro, Chocolate Ice Cream or Vanilla Ice Cream! etc, etc... lmao - jk
