yes, I painted the needle with acrylic paint markers. I also painted the backside of the speedo plate all except the eyes of the snake and the numbers. That way the only thing lit up are these areas. It looks SICK! in person but for some reason my $hitty camera doesn't do it justice or I would post it. Basically just blocking light where I don't want it tho.

yo, using the SEARCH is faster than waiting for a reply. i searched, found the L/M clip and then removed the covers. Painted them black (black bike). hated the fake-chrome look. also, black cuts down on the speedo reflecting light onto the face of the speedo and into your eyes.
