I dont see anyway to shorten them, they attach to about the same place as stock, they sound pretty good for slip-ons, i am going to put some thunder baffles in place of the v&h baffles they shoud work pretty good then.
Regards,
Dewking

Which baffles did you get? I heard that they are crazy loud, so I was thinking of using the V&H quiet baffles.

The quiet baffles come installed, I am going to get the thunder baffles to replace the stock V&H baffles, The thunder baffles sound awesome and they are loud.

So then, the slip-ons come with quiet baffles and they are loud, probably crazy loud to me and you folks are intending to kick it up another notch and make it over the top loud, right?
What I am looking for is a slip on that is a little louder than stock but no where near as loud as after market pipes.
One of my ideas was to get a stock muffler box and modify that, but I have not been able to find one in Oz. If anyone has a stock muffler box that they are willing to post to Oz (I'll pay the postage) let me know how much you want for it.

I'm not familiar with the term muffler box but you can have mine if I have one. I sent my stock pipes to MFR so in the image below I have everything but the pipes.
