Let me refer you to page 2 of General Discussion (Hard Start Problem Fixed) and Page 4 (Battery Comparison)

You will read about the different problems others are having, and the different batteries being attempted, plus other info.

I have the Shorai lithium ion right now......took 3 months after killing stock battery to start having issues with the Shorai. 2nd Shorai in now while other out for testing.

So, for me, at this point, not sure if there's a battery out there worth the money and still not convinced the batteries are the problem(s).

Just my input.

Agreed, have the same shorai battery.....it works, it's expensive and you have to buy it's dedicated charger to keep it "equalized"....imo, get a simple oem battery each year.

I have the same stock battery now for two years, I run with alot of led on even when park. When finish riding for the day I plug it in to a battery tender. It 's been working fine for me
