Shift linkage should be around 50 tops and the plates cost roughly 10 bucks to make + chrome, bolts and time
The plates themselves, if you don't remember that picture I posted up, would run you about 15-25$ each, determining if he got them wholesale or not... 10$? Maybe if you got them from the school shop or the back of some business, but running a business, you can't afford the metal to be less than certified when it comes to you as peoples lives are in danger (he uses 3/8" aluminum though and I would recommend 1/2"). I agree, it is a little high for what it is, but considering that he is the only one doing it right now... guess that means Monopoly for him at this current time.

Your using different Dimensions (for stock) then i am for the plate to cut from, Plate has to be probably 3" by about 4 1/2" give or take to make a bracket, a kinda rhombus type shape for the cut. Running a business you get the metal for cheaper, but have to be cautious about the ways you cut to save waste. Dont worry Red I will more than likely try this as a DIY soon, just need time from work and school, and will post cost

What’s up Sea Dawg? I’m all for more competition and better price like everyone else. Unfortunately, there are not too many options yet. I haven’t particularly paid attention to what foreword controls are running for other models, but I would think the pricing structure would be similar.
