Default Met an ex SAMCRO member yesterday

The wife and I were coming back from hawaii yesterday and while we were waiting for our connecting flight at LAX we had a run in with an ex SAMCRO member!

I was on my way to get a bottle of water when this homeless looking guy was heading my way toward the seating area. He caught my eye because he looked so damn rough. I thought how in the hell did he sneak in here? He was wearing a ball cap pulled down to hide his face, scraggly looking beard and hair, old looking jeans and sneakers and one of those old puffy looking jackets we had back in the late 70's early 80's.

We made eye contact but he quickly looked down like he was trying to hide. It really bugged me because he looked so damn familiar and i never forget a face. Names are a different story. Regardless i kept walking. On the way back with my water i walked by him again for one last look when he looked up at me as i passed. He had this expression like "Shit I'm busted." I sat down next to the wife and told her who i just saw but i couldn't remember his name.

Well with my iphone not only figured out his name but all of the movies he's starred in. Apocalypse Now, Silverado, SUcker Punch, The hunt for red October, the jason bourne movies, man on fire, silence of the lambs, courage under fire, urban cowboy, backdraft just to name a few.

It was freaking Scott Glenn sitting next to us!!

My daughter is a big fan of his movie Sucker Punch so my wife discretely went over to him to ask for an autograph. He was super cool about it but was trying to keep a low profile. He talked to the wife for a little bit and then signed our boarding pass for our daughter.

Come to find out he's not only into bikes but was the original Clay Morrow! Kurt Sutter originally cast him as Clay in the first pilot episode but they decided to replace him with Ron Pearlman because at the time SOA was going to be more of a dark comedy than drama and Glenn came across as too dark and serious. I think he would have been great as Clay. He's currently working on a new bourne movie due out in 2012.

I know this post is a little long winded but i felt like a little girl that just bumped into justin beiber!

Here's his autograph and a face to put with the name.

Now that's funny

Scott Glenn has a distinctive look and has been in so many movies, I'll bet it's difficult for him to go incognito.

Kewl story Jato; Also, kudos to you for thinking of your Daughter... Very polite of you not blowing his cover, and very proud of your wife coming home with you, instead of with Mr. Glenn!!! lmao -jk

Pretty neat, pretty cool... thanks for the story Jato.

Yeah I was worried for a minute that the wife wasn't coming back but with my good looks and emminsive wealth that I might persuade her to stay put.
