Normal or 3" Ext Controls ??
I read a thread where Accutronics & DLX was doing group buys for controls. There was a constant question of if you have bellow a 32 inseam would 3" ext be to far for ease of operation?? Never saw an answer from Troy to that question ? I'm 5.9 with 31" inseam and starting to think the 3" will not work.
The 2nd question would be is there a good reason " besides looks " to get the normal set comparative to me repairing the OEM set ???
Thanks Bros

I have the 3” on my bike, did you ever ride mine? With the stock seat I think you may be stretching a little bit to shift and brake. If you are planning on going with the Low and Mean seat pan, the 3” would work fine as you are sitting lower in the bike.
I like the look much better than the standard stock set up. In the beginning, I switched out my pegs and so forth, but it never seemed to be the look I was looking for in a chopper. I purchased the Accutronix Diamond cut 3” forwards and could not be happier.

Wish I would have I did sit on it and remember thinking I liked the feel, but I have this memory of yours & rokuseks scoots 3" Cntrls being a stretch?? And he is about my length in legs and told me it was alittle difficult to shift & break ?
I'm wondering what the feel would be on the normal ones since its a longer thinner peg and is 1" higher then stock??

JW, I have 31" inseam and accutronix recommended the standard and I'm very comfortable with the distance.
Second question...they also go about 1" higher and the pegs are longer

I'm in the garage now and using old plates & pegs as a rough mock up.
I like the extra length for long rides cause my legs are pretty much straight out but think for my 2 or 3 hr normal rides would be harder to operate ! So now I guess the last question would be do you see a change for the better in comfort with the normal set ??? It would cost me a little under $ 300 for parts & the pegs I want to take it to stock ( except pegs ) Seems to be the same $ for both Reg & 3" so I'm looking at another $300 to do Accutronics.

I do feel more comfortable, especially that you can adjust the brake and shift pedals and the longer pegs allow me to set my foot to the outside and relax...More $$$ but the quality is excellent and you can order with different finishes

The Black Diamond Cut
They are beautiful !
If I can get Troy or Dreyer to get them closer to $500 I'll probably pull the trigger .
