Default S I got the Accutronix plate holder mounted

so I have a couple of questions

1) what is best way to route wire for plate light?

2) can I just cut off the old plate holder inducing the 2 metal rods that come to a point by the old plate?

As far as the wiring...I have no idea and will love to hear the answer as well since I still need to switch mine out.

As far as removing the stock one, Removal of factory License plate bracket.. There is LOTS of good, useful info in the Fury FAQ button up above.

I have the same plate bracket, Run the wires back along the swing arm, remove seat and rear fender, under the seat you'll find where to attach the ground wire, then useing a test light find the wire sending power to rear driving light not brake light wire, and tap into it. and yes i just cut off the part of the bracket off the back where your old plate went to. Hope that helps.

I have the same and it was my 1st and only mod done by myself and being 1st time bike owner I was happy and it went well, I followed instruction on the forum on this topic. I did run the wires on the swing arm removed the lights and cut off the metal bracket. I did extend the wires as I felt they were short.

I just finished this mod myself. Like everyone else I extended the wires and ran them along the swing arm. I removed the rear fender and ran the wires along the fender framwork and eventually wired to the original license plate wiring where I had cut it off. I figured if I ever wanted to go back to the stock licence plate or add additional lighting mods, the wiring would be convienently located. I also purchased inexpensive plastic tubing from the hardware store to insert the wiring in for protection from rocks or water.
