I was worried that the excess loop left after I snapped the end down would be flapping but it wasn't. I just carry around a bit of OCD and like a nice clean look.

You a 89B or a Warrant? I also had this issue in the past and thought about getting velcro sewed onto the straps, but then I just ended up buying a new helmet and didn't have the same issue.

I'm a Tech now....spent 12+ yrs before I made the jump. I enjoy what I do...not the dopey side of it but the actual job.

You were a pilot correct....(there I go assuming...)

Nah I was enlisted, just retired recently, was an 89B, now I'm an Accountable Officer at an ASP
