Default Helmet Quick Disconnect

What are your thoughts on what to do with the excess when you install a quick disconnect on your helmet? I don't want to cut in the event that I may use it again. What are you guys using to secure?

I thought about the needle and thread.

Duct tape works Loner but I'm only allowed to fit two stereotypes at any given time....

To hold your strap on ?!?
What's the point of wearing a lid if it won't stay on if you go down

My helmet strap has a snap on it that holds it out of the way.

I have a modular helmet that has a small snap that I use, but my novelty helm has a built in quick connect. If I were you I'd just put a few stitches in it.

I have one of those quick disconnects but I may ditch it when I replace my helmet. The pins are just so small that it's only quick for me about half the time.

I just put a rubber band around the excess... not too tight, just enough to hold it... no prob!
