Fury Isolation?
So even before I got my Fury I never saw one during my travels. Now that I am on one I still think I have the only one in Albuquerque. I was wondering if any one else feels the same. Are there really so few Fury riders around? When I had my shadow I would see them all the time. Just my two cents.

Yep just not enough of them out. The three local dealers around here say its a really hard sell only one of the dealers keep the Fury in stock.

It's about as common as seeing a Ferrari here.

I personally have heard of three different cases where people have liked the idea of buying a Fury, but the fact that it has so many plastic components in them, they didn't like the idea of paying that much money for a bike with so much plastic in it, so they went along and bought a Harley...., go figure!
I personally loved the Fury the minute I saw it at the dealer when I first bought my first bike, but ended up buying the VTX-1300C because I thought it would be a better choice for ridding two-up and my wife and daughter actually liked it, and also believe it or not, the salesman actually persuade me to purchase the VTX as well, even though it was cheaper than the Fury, but after i had my accident wit the VTX that ended up being totaled, the second time around, I went straight for the Fury and haven't looked back ever since.

I don't see the big deal about plastic... How many parts are actually plastic? Fenders, side covers, case covers, air cleaner, and headlight. It's not like the frame or engine or handlebars are plastic.

I agree. The parts that are plastic do not bother me. It would be nice if someone would step up and make replacement parts, but not that big of a deal.

Its a Chopper... Not a large market to sell to, Choppers that is!
Im in Chicago and have seen only 2-3 of them around
MAkes ME HAPPY NOT TO HAVE A STANDARD BIKE IMO!
Harleys of any type are a dime a dozen here in Chi town!
Enjoy being the one and only for now!
Also the resale will be better with out tons of other Furys for sale that drive down the price supply and demand ya know!
Plastic is here to stay and we all need to deal with it! It lighter and dont rust and may hold up BETTER with small impacts!

I really don't think buyers are going from the Fury to a Harley cause of a few plastic parts ! What I do believe is as stated before "It's A Chopper" and if you are into 2 up long rides I wouldn't recommend it, but if you are like me and want the coolest new bike out there with the best feel & $$$ then it's the scoot for you.

Here in Northern Ireland there's only been 2 furys sold. My black 1 and Marks blue 1. I like not having a common bike it's deff a break from the norm. As for the plastic parts I dont mind them. A lot lighter so increases performance and handling.
