yes they are, I love working on this bike! I had a VTX1800R before I got this one and loved working on that bike also attached is a pic of my 1800.

I agree the VTX was a great bike! very fast..and HEAVEY that is the main reason I got rid of it, it was getting to be to much of a chore to ride. The Fury is nimble and way lighter.
