Your guy's opinion?

Hey yall, sniffing around the web for bikes and came across this one:
2010 Honda Fury $7,950 - Dream Machines of Texas Farmers Branch Texas 75234

it has kinda high miles. My questions, does the price seem right? Do these need vavle adjustments at 30k miles? What are some potential pitfals here?

I have never owned a Honda before, only Yamahas.

Thanks, Casey

I don't think that's a bad price considering you could probably talk them down a little more.

Honda's are extremely reliable (cars and bikes). I've got 20k on mine and all I've had to do is replace oil, brake pads, and tires. Didn't even need a 600mile adjustment.

The valve's are manual adjust ,I did my own , there is a link for the service manual (PDF) on the forum , just search it, there haven't been any problems that have been posted regarding them that I know of.

Good to know. Thanks for the replies. I feel good about my decision to go back to Metric. I was so close to buying a used Wide Glide about 2 monthes ago. What a mistake that would have been.

I would look around more. 8k is average price for one with less than 10k miles. I paid 8k for mine and had 8k miles. Cobra exhaust, cobra tuner and sissy bar already installed.

It looks like it has chrome wheels, exhaust, pegs, and a custom seat on it. I would say that if you got them to $7500 it would be a good deal considering the cost of the extra's. JMO

2010 Black and Chrome and Chrome and Chrome........ What else?
