MFR was very nice to offer plugs to cover the unsightly holes left from removing the rear turn signals but I decided try to fill them in. First, I tried epoxy. It looked great to begin with but as it cured, shrinkage really screwed up the appearance. I used body filler to cover the shrinkage and primer filler to cover the rest of the imperfections. I used matte black for the final coat. I'll install tomorrow and add a few more pics.
