Default Fury Discontinued???

A dealer told me over the weekend that the Fury would be discontinued. Let me rephrase that, an employee told me that he had heard that they were going to be discontinued.

Any truth??

Haven't heard that but wouldn't surprise me. Seems to be a trend with their cruisers. Only bikes I can think of that have been around for many years is Goldwing and Shadow. But if they do I am sure they will release something in it's place. I would think the Fury will be around for another few years before that happens though.

It could be good for us if it happens other than finding parts. Should drive up resale in the future.

If that is true the market value of all current Fury's just went up.

There was a thread a few months ago about Europe discontinuing sales but nothing about the US. Jr Dreyer ( Dreyer Honda ) said he didn't see that cause their sales is good.

If he works for a dealer, he may not be able to say anything. I agree with Dave, it that's the case, our value just kicked up a notch.

I haven't heard that rumor, Honda would not release that until the new models are out, and the 2013s have already been introduced. And if they were they would not announce it, they would just replace it with a different middle weight. The Fury is the best selling of the VT1300 line. The sales rep was in last week he did say there might be a new model introduced at the Chicago motorcycle show, but it could be anything there are pics of a new CBR500 floating around.
