Fury welds

I saw this topic of discussion come up several times on various forums. I thought I could start a thread for all of the Fury owners to post pictures of their frame welds so that inquiring minds can make informed decisions.

Here are the welds on mine.

If the last two numbers indicate what number it was of a certain color then mine is #36 blue.

I have the bright silver Fury and i was kinda concerned about the welding myself I've seen several Fury's and the welding looks the same. Non sure why Honda put them out they way unless they wanted to go for a custom made from sratch bike.

I noticed the welds weren't extremely clean on the first Fury I saw. To be honest though, I wasn't particularily concerned. I've never been more excited to anything with a motor in it, including all of the cars I've owned. My wife tells me I should go sleep in the garage with my bike. I am tempted....

I put this post up to share the pictures of the welds off an early release bike for informative purposes. Like I said, it didn't sway my decision in the slightest.

Same here. My wife is excited about the bike and has not told to go sleep with it though. I been riding so much i have not had time to go buy me a brain bucket. Im using my old full face and Joe Rocket jacket that i had when I had a CBR 600.

I think people are making to much about it. It's not a big deal. Unless someone points it out to you, it doesn't stand out. It doesn't take away from the bike as a whole.

Ive done weld inspecition, im surprised the welds look like that. We will see how my fury looks when I get it. I guess as long as the quality is still good we are ok, but its not too much to ask to have a solid good looking weld.

I have had a few people point out the welds on my bike already. They are indeed eye sores

dont be concerned.if mine havent come loose they never will.i ride bad roads in va and havbe scraped the peg feelers compleatly off.could have taken them off but hitting those curves and draggong them off is more fun.forget the welds and ride it like you stole it.keep ytour ruvbber on the ground and git er dun.
