I used bug and tar remover. It worked great for me.

Does this registry apply to Canadian Matte silver Fury's? I just purchased my Fury but will not be riding it yet until the snow melts.....I just checked out my VIN and somebody already has their name next to my number..
Is matte silver the same as Matte bullet?

Yes it is. I just ordered a can of of "matte bullet" from Colorite. That is what they have listed instead of matte silver.

In Canada the colour is listed as Matte Bullet Silver (Limited Edition). The other two colours available to us are Graphite Black and Bordeaux Red Metallic.

Does the Canadian Matte Silver have the same model number as the U.S. one. That is the only way that the last numbers of the VIN could be the same. I know that there are three different model numbers in the US. One for the 49 state model, one for the California emmissions (50 State) model and one for the SE Matte Silver.

Fury #27 - Is the Matte Silver listed in Canada as a Limited Edition or a Special Edition? That is how this thread got started in the first place. Even though Honda's website called it only a "Special Edition," several dealers were calling it a "Limited Edition" and even saying that Honda was only making 500. There was a lot of confusion about it here for a while.

Graphite Black, Bordeaux Red Metallic, optional Matte Bullet Silver (Limited Edition C2X version).
That is how the colours are listed on honda.ca up here in Canada.
I am #32 of the Canadian version....still waiting for the snow to leave so I can ride!
