Default Has anyone seen production numbers?

Has anyone seen production numbers? It would be very interesting to see
1) how many are made
2) Sold in the US
3) production by color

These have been out for almost a year now and I hardly ever see one and I have
only had mine 2 weeks and I get compliments everywhere I go.

It is well known that Honda keeps a tight lip on the numbers and there was a thread a few week back about this specific topic, Wondering how many Fury's sold to date.

Let's just put it this way, we all know that the Fury is popular and that maybe this forum represents 1/10th the number of Fury's sold, if that... You consider that there's 330 million people in the U.S. and let's be fair and say half of those aren't even old enough to drive, that still 165 million people in the U.S. alone.

Take the 2000 people that have registered on this forum *10, 20,000 bikes sold (probably engrossing the numbers a little bit) ... Now, you have .000125% of this countries population riding Fury's, you can see why it's hard to spot some of us, unless you are actually on this forum and active or in a bigger city, where the odds are much better that you will see a Fury on the road.

Harley, has been around for over 100 years so you will see more of them, also in the mix are other manufacturer's and also Honda's other makes and models... so yes... You will undoubtedly see more of those on the road at just about every glance.

In Germany, the Fury (VT 1300 CX) comes the beginning of the year are in the trade! Overall, only 75 of which was delivered to the dealer!

I guess in Germany were still only 25 units sold! The bike is very expensive for us!

14,285 Euro without ABS and 14,885 Euro including ABS (19150 - 19950 Dollar). 90% buy the bike with ABS.

We also have only two colors: blue and black.

I think the Fury is a very nice chopper! Because the average motorcyclist is 45 years old, it will not be many buyers.

A Harley Street Bob is almost 1500 euros cheaper!

In Germany, many older motorcyclists buy a BMW or a Harley. Some who do not have enough money to buy a Kawasaki Vulcan 900. This bike was the best selling motorcycle in 2009.

That's pretty cool to hear, considering the price tag there... thanks for the info!

Same in UK... only Blue and Black... Honda need to lower the price and offer us the other colors. I suspect that the price will drop towards the end of 2010.

I think that is also in Germany the price reduced! Or are there specific actions of the Honda dealers?

Here in Australia the recommended retail price is AU $19990 plus dealer delivery, registration & 3rd party personal insurance so that all come to $21,400 on the road. We only have the ABS version and two colours, blue & black.

I was able to get a better deal from my local Honda dealer but all the other dealers in Sydney just quoted the full price and weren't interested in negotiating. It's still 10 to 14K cheaper than a stock HD soft tail but it is the most expensive Honda cruiser in Australia.

Honda won't even say how may GLs were made, and those were made in the USA. I did read an article today that Honda had sold 400,000 units in the US, and 11,000,000 in Asia, that is were the real market for m/c and scooters is. And I bet not 1 Fury was sold there

interesting to read the comments from the other parts of the world. I had no idea they cost that much over there. Part of the Fury brotherhood.
