Sabre anyone?

Just wondering if anybody else has a Honda Sabre. I picked one up this past October, and absolutely love it. I imagine most of the Fury aftermarket products will fit the Sabre. Was wondering if the Fury rear wheel would mount up to my Sabre? The Sabre rear wheel is 15" whereas the Fury is 18". Thanks for any info.

I have not seen one done yet, but looks like a direct bolt on to me.

I like the Sabre. In fact I was dealing on one when my salesman said "do you like the Fury?" I told him that I loved it, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend, and I was trading in my Ninja too. He had been notified of a Blue Fury that had been traded in at a Toyota dealer in New York and it was lightly used. The price was right and he gave me top dollar for my Ninja, so I got it. Or I would be on a black Sabre today.

They use the same final drive and axle, so they should mate, but there could be a clearance problem, I looked at 2 on the showroom floor and they look to my uncalibrated eyeball that they would. Going from a 170/80-15 to a 200/50-18, the overall diameter of the tires looks fairly close.

Yeah I figured just about everything would bolt up. I think the clearance would be fine, as the rear fender hovers above the tire. Debating on doing the T-mod on it as well. I figured this next year most companies and vendors will start coming out with more aftermarket parts for it, but I'm impatient at times.

I was planning on pulling my Fury's side covers off and painting them black, but if the Saber's side covers are already color matched, they fit the Fury (and they're cheap enough) it might make sense to swap them like Clint is thinking on the tires.

They fit, I tried them about 6 months ago at my local dealer... I just swapped them out inside of the store...
