I had the same idea. I just sent out two quote requests to CNC tube bending shops to see if what the cost would be. This one looks really nice but the price tag is sky high. I do like that this one doesn't require drilling though.

I have needed a sissy bar for over a year but the tought of drilling into my fender makes my stomach turn and it just isn't going to happen. I was going to, and still would pay twice this price not to drill.

Here are some pics from MJM's website of the IMC style bar on a Victory, I think. The IMC style is rounded and the chopper style comes to point. Don't worry the IMC pad is not studded, this is an old pic. I will try a post better pics of the all the available bars on a fury when they become available.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the pics redneck, I am getting to pull the trigger on this on monday, do you have any complaints with this product? Any issues? From what I can tell, you just have to remove two bolts and replace with some longer ones correct? As far as the sissy bar goes, have you had a passenger onboard? No issues? What about where it rests on the rear fender? Is there a piece of rubber in place to keep from scratches? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to be sure there are no issues at hand before purchasing, and then if there is, I'll just have to weigh my options, but I do like the fact there is no drilling. Thanks.

You pretty much got it right. Just install with longer bolts. You do lose the strap across the rear seat, it does not fit between the seat and mount. You will get longer bolts and a new, longer spacer for the rear bolt to the fender. The rear mount on the sissy bar is elongated and you will have to enlarge the mounting hole in the plastic tab on the back of the seat to match. It is pretty easy, after all it is plastic. Once that is done it takes some doing to get all the hole lined up since you are doing it blind. I have good luck starting the rear and then getting the sides in. Remember to leave all the loose until they are all started, then tighten. There are non marring rubber bumpers under the rear mount. I have had my wife on for over 1000 miles and had no problems with flex or rubbing on the "paint". I have been very happy with this product but I'm kind of biased. I look forward to someone else's review. Please keep in mind that is is a new product and there might be a couple of weeks untill it is shipped. Mine was just finished and picked up yesterday.
