Default Accutronix is not a 5" forward control! Thats ridiculous! LOOK!

O.K, I am not trying to piss anyone off but there is some false info going around here!
Here is a stock control. Actually it's a pic from DLX. If you measure from the front of the mounting bracket to the center of the peg it is 3". Those of you with stock controls feel free to do this. I just dug mine out of the basement. The front of the mounting bracket is at the front of the down tube.
Now look at my pic of my forwards. My peg is also at the front of the down tube.See what I'm saying.
I can put controls on a bike or set them on the floor and move them back and fourth too till I achieve my desired measurement! But these are the facts!
Nuff said!

There is another thread saying they are 5 or 51/2" forwards. Believe me. They aren't.

I read that other thread and was thinking they were talking about the forward controls being about 5 inches more forward than the stock controls, at least that's the way I read it and understood it, could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last lol.

To me it doesn't look like the standard FC's are much if any farther forward than the stock, probably sit higher though, maybe I'm looking at the pictures wrong who knows.
