Anyone have the Rad III mirrors? If so, I'd appreciate your take on them.....can you see behind you without having to shift your body to the side?

These mirrors are one of the best things I bought for my Fury. Before these I bought sickle mirrors, but those were to small to actually see something behind you.

The rad3 are also a bit bigger and wider than the original ones, so you will actually see more with those. Oh and its smoked glass, so you won't get blinded by cars anymore.

Perhaps you could think about buying the kuryakin stilletto end caps, else the mirrors will stick a cm out of the handlebar.

I'm very happy with mine.Agree with all points Serge made, plus they stay tight when you put them on without Loctite or welding ect.Make sure you get the metric ones so you don't have to use adapters.

I have them too. You can see them in my album.
I had to slighty shift the hand controls forward, I am 6.2" to get the right sight line instead of ducking to see. Just be careful your brake side can hit the tank if rolled forward to much.
You will need to add an end cap to your grip or the mirror will stick out further than your grip.
Good luck.

Guys, thanks for your responses....didn't see them till this morning though. Ordered the mirrors last night - ordered the die cast ones....not sure how they will mount. I have the Kuryakyn scythe mirrors right now and both the left and right adapers have broken and mirrors fell (but caught them both)....those adapters don't hold up at 80mph for extended rides.....

Do any of you have the die cast? How do they mount? They are for harleys. I hope they have an adapter in them. You get alot of vibration on them?

Thanks,
Bob

Thanks Dwane, I ordered mine through leatherup.com - was 8 bucks cheaper for each one and it says an adapter is included. Can't remember the part numbers right off hand....but I sure do appreciate your help!

I'm with loco... You need to get the metric ones that don't need the adapters. I found mine listed to fit a victory. If you ordered ones that need an adapter, you won't be happy. Just my two cents...

I saw the metric pics....looks like they had a round stem....I liked the die cast look, so went with those.....hopefully not a mistake. Thanks for all the responses....looks like it will be a good mirror. I was concerned that I'd have to lean a bit to see behind me (broad shoulders).....hopefully I won't have to.
