willie and max the hooker Q

Ok about to put my cobra rack on for my 4th of july ar trip, and also bought the willie and max the hooker kit to go with it. Question is, has any used this hook kit under the cobra rack? does it scratch the fender?

I used it on my first ride to Daytona no scratches, best if you use a net.
