Default Demonscycle - BUYERS BEWARE!

Just like the title says, if you buy from Demonscycle take note of their reutrn policy. If anything goes wrong with your order ... anything ... its on you to pay to return the item, even if its Demonscycles fault. Let me explain.

I had purchased my current set of mirrors from Demonscycle Spring of 2010 and was happy with the buy. With the adaptors and shipping i think i paid $40. The set screws on the rear did start to rust out and i have since replaced them with stainless.

Now over the winter i had to break down the mirrors from the perches and ended up chewing up the mounting screws so i had to order 2 more. I purchased them through Ebay to the tune of $20 shipped. A week later i get a note from my local Post Office that i need to pay for an item that was shipped from FL. So i go down to the P.O. and shell out a buck or 2 for me to recieve my bolts that were already paid for ... shipping included! my ass. Demonscycle did appologize via Email but did not offer to re-emburse me for my out of pocket expense to retrieve my bolts.

My latest deal with Demonscycle was a new pair of mirrors i purchased 2 1/2 weeks ago. Again, i paid about $40 for what i thought would be a perfect set of mirrors for my ride. Couple days later and my package arrives via FedEx. I open the box up and check the left mirror ... no problem. The right mirror ... it has a black dot the size of a large Sessamee seed on the lower edge of the mirror. I run my finger nail across the mirrors outside and its still flat. There must be a chip on the inside of the mirror that happened during the assembly.

I immediately send Demonscycle an Email asking where do i go from here. Their quality control didnt catch the flaw from their shop, so who is going to pay to ship the defective mirror back to them in FL.? I first talked to Patrick via Email and he readily gave me an authorization code, but wouldnt tell me who would pay for the shipping back to them. Over the past 2 1/2 weeks i have talked to Harry, Hose, & Howard on the phone and i have been told that there is no one there who can make the decision to pay me to ship the defective mirror to them. The owners Tom and Dave are both in Germany for a motorcycle show, but they would return my Email should i decide to send them one. That was yesterday, and still nothing.

So here i sit, with a set of mirrors that one has this black dot in it. These mirrors are made in China, and i have seen another Ebay seller with the same ones for the same price or possibly cheaper. In a nut shell, if you do business with them, your at their mercy. Apparently they dont give a rats ass about their customers ... they just want your money. If they screw up your order in any way shape or form it is now on you to pay to ship the item(s) back to them for them to hopefully get it right the second time.

Buyers Beware

rediculous!! I have seen shit like this before where a vendor will not stand by a product they sell when something goes wrong. My advice to you is contact your bank or credit card company and put through a dispute for a damaged item. They may be a little more receptive if they are going to lose the entire amount of the sale instead of just the shipping.

I have also sent them an email.
