Air pressure in tires
I know the manual calls for 33 front and 41 rear in stock tires, but was wondering what most of you run. I lowered mine a few pounds to ride the Dragon and it actually rides better. Don't want to wear the tires out faster so will probably bump them back up. What say you all?

I have 41psi in front and back.Thinking about letting a little out of front tire, seems a little bouncy. 41 psi is the max rating for both tires. Manuel work's fine if your running factory tires. But best to always go by psi rating on tires,in case you ever change brands. Some may vary plus it depends on whether you ride solo or with a passenger. Also don't forget to check pressure during season change's.

What's up Eric? Looks like all of you run much more in the front than the book calls for. Is there a reason for that. Guess I would never think to put 44 in the front when they call for 33. Does that much more inflation make the ride pretty rough and bouncy? Just wondering why 11 pounds more than called for. By the way, I ride solo all the time.......

I run 41 because it seems to handle better for me.....plus with the rough roads here, I don't want the tire giving too much toward the rim. Just my personal preference. I plan on changing to Metz's when time comes, but still running stock right now.

I know running them low makes them hotter so what does running them with more air pressure do? Just sort of wandering. I still run 33 and 41

Can't really answer your question, but I found that with more air pressure in the front tire, I have less swerve/slallom/wobble in the steering when I run 80+.....before I increased it, it felt like the steering wanted to waver some....could just be the tire consistency that makes the difference.....but with more air, I could cut a better line and have no swaying/swerving in the front end.
