Fury Nation Artwork

I have seen the Fury nation artwork around the site but have been unable to find out who owns it through a forum search. I have a cricut that I use to cut patterns/templates for my woodwork. I can cut vinyl also, just never have. I would like to cut some for personal use, but want to ask permission to use the artwork. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is it BlueJ's?

BINGO! Also, I believe Night Fury was the originator of the Fury skull.

***EDIT***
As an added bonus; I am the originator of all things bullshit on here, however the above statement is not among my bullshit.

Yep on Night Fury. BJ has the other later odds n ends. You'd have to do a search going back a few years for anyone else's...

Adios amigos, weather is here, wish you were beautiful!!

I was told "Shorty Steve" did and there's an open use copyright.

RIP Shorty.

Yes, Tiggs has it correct! The Infamous Fury Nation Skull and Wings was designed by Shorty Steve. Some Forum members use the logo for their own, or for 'the family' art. Not to sell to the public to make cash.

Many of us use that logo to make trinkets and what have you for the Nation Family, or ourselves.. Several members have made stuff like Ball Caps, Beanies, T-Shirts, Flasks, Decals, Poker Chips, key chains, Bandannas, Patches - tons of stuff like that. But it is all kept within the family. By the family, for the family.

Cheers brother, love to see what kind of wood working you do with it. This is the logo that is "For the Family" if you find other designs out the re with it, it is best to find the artist. In the end, keep it in the family.

Thanks for the info. I share patterns with other woodworkers and pay for some patterns also. I would never use someone's artwork without permission as I know from personal experience what it takes to design a pattern. Anything I make I will share pictures of for the family.

As stated above, the Fury Nation logo (skull and wings) was designed by Shorty Steve with help by Easy E. For a while Easy sold shirts and other things with the logo and claimed ownership. There was a huge debate on the forum about this ownership and in a post by Shorty it said the logo belonged to the forum for anyone's use. Since then we've not heard much from Easy. He was a great attribute to the forum and a gifted painter.

Some variations of the original design have popped up and used by various members. I, myself, have colored and modified one that Taz uses with my blessing for the poker chips. I feel if you want to use the artwork then go for it. If there's a specific one you have in mind PM me and I'll try helping you locate the creator. I know I prefer to be asked for a blessing on my work rather than see it just show up somewhere. For example, the poker chip art was going to be a tattoo I designed for me. Now I feel like someone might say I stole the artwork.

Just my 0.02¢.
