Default Canella risers may have cost me my Fury :<(

After a year of procrastination, I finally added the risers. What a difference; can't believe I waited so long. Now I have the comfortable bob-chop-ruiser I wanted in the Fury with Canella risers and Mustang solo seat. Rode about 80 miles this morning and no shoulder/neck/back stress. Very nice.

Now, the problem is .... my wife wants to unload her Aero and take my Fury. Oh well, so it goes. Maybe I'll buy a Rune. If not, either a Rocket III or Thunderbird Storm. I'll still be able to ride Fury, once in a while.

IF YOU HAVEN'T ADDED THE CANELLA RISERS ........ DO IT!

Yeppers! I loves my black Cannella riser - still in need of a new seat, though.
Trying to decide between C&C and Corbin King/Queen... my wallet tells me I have a while to think about it!

If you decide to let her have it, my hubby has a 2004 rune and absolutely is head over heels in love with it. He is at a Rune Rider meeting this weekend in TN. I've ridden it a couple of times but I gotta say I love my fury!!!! and with you being 6'0" you will need to try and get some forward controls for the rune because the pegs and shifter are right under you. That might be a problem for you, I know it gets my hubby sometimes and he is only 5'9"........just a thought

I love my Fury, but that Rocket III is a bada$$ bike. Sounds like best of both worlds.

Well, I think it will be a bit before anyone gets the Fury from me but, the Thunderbird Storm is the most likely next move. I fell in love with the Rune when I finally saw it at the Barber Museum but like the Rocket III is a massive bike.

I love the Fury and will fight to keep it as my primary ride, and my Bonneville as the change of pace.
