Ginz Sissy Bar Mounts Old Vs New

As promised I grabbed a few quick snaps of the old mounts and the new mounts. The old mounts are on the left and the new mounts are on the right. The new mounts are about 16mm (5/8") shorter, so the bar is closer to the seat by that much, you can also see they have a bit more metal where they bolt to the frame. The material is the same thickness however.

Interesting... Looks considerably stronger.

I wonder if they'll replace mine even though I bought them from Phat without a bar.

I suggest that you call or email Teri at Ginz and remind them that you have an older set of mounts. I'm confident that she will sort out a replacement set. Ginz did say that hey are working through the list in the order of people who bought them so maybe yours are already scheduled.
