Default Corbin Seat Scratching Paint

My corbin has like 300 miles on it took it off for the winter and noticed where the front sticks over the tank is scratched, im not happy to say the least, e-mailed corbin they say it is adjustable but mine is not adjustable its all ready against the back fender so no room to adjust. They are not answering my e-mails now, I am pissed. anyone else have this issue?
Regards,
Dewking

You sure it's scratched and not just dull spots from the seat rubbing? My C&C does the same thing but they aren't scratches, all I do is use some rubbing compound and buff it out, good as new.

All the tanks from the factory have a 3x3 square piece of plastic on the tank in that area see that it is the paint and not the plastic that is getting scratched.
