Default Seat Choices

I am soooo digging this new Fury.

Bought this last week and tried to ride it home from key west on Halloween night. Went okay till a tropical monsoon hit me around key largo and forced me to stay the night in Florida city. Water was so deep on the roads that it felt like I was riding a jet ski!

I junked the cobra baffles that came installed in the sweepers and installed a set of big city thunder baffles and it runs and sounds so much nicer. Still waiting on the cobra fresh air and fuel controller to come in tho.

I would like to add an inch or two to the fork length if I can do it without having to make rake changes. Some knowledgeable input would be appreciated on this.

Changed the front and rear brake pads to EBC HH and the brakes now work like good brakes should.

The original owner replaced the stock sissy bar with a solid stainless steel unit that is much stronger than the tubular ones available and it seems to be about the right height compared to the stock unit.

I have already ordered kury ISO grips and switchblade pegs, along with the cobra stuff. I am also leaning towards replacing all the junk on the rear with an LED run, brake, turn tail light and plate mount. Can't seem to find an attractive solution to replace the front blinkers with. Could also use some suggestions on replacement front blinkers and a tail light.

Unfortunately it is not as comfortable for the wife on the back as it is for me on the front. I have searched the forum and have narrowed it sown to choosing between the C & C touring seat on eBay and the corbin king and queen seat. The C & C looks comfy but the Corbin has an old school classic look that I do like. If anyone has any feed back on the seats mentioned or anything else that I could use help on it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all

Nice bike, enjoy!

As for a front turn signal options you can use mirros with built-in LED turn signals lights. They are available in multiple different styles, jest google it

Chrome Glow has fork tube LED signals at about 80 bucks a set. I bought a set and they are real bright. Raw makes a decent LED strip to replace the rear lights. You can find them on E-Bay for $99. You'll need to relocate your license plate though. You can go with Low and Mean fork extenders. They are about $100 and real easy to install.

You can find a lot of good information in the FAQ here. Lots of good mods and good info. And don't be afraid to ask the simplest of questions. Lots of knowledgable people here that are happy to help.

Enjoy the ride man.

Ride safe.

Don't know about the Corbin, but the C&C is a real nice seat. Much more comfortable than stock.

If you like the old school look, go with the Corbin. I have a buddy that has one and he has no complaints. bottom line is that they both will be much better than stock, so go with what looks better to you. Nice looking bike you got there!

I've had Corbin before & have a Mustang Vintage Wide now both are very comfortable. Not a big sport seat fan.

I went with the Corbin K/Q. Definitely more comfortable for both and I like the old school look. Wife still complains on longer trips, but with her medical issues it's a miracle she's on the back seat at all!

C&C was my choice for sure on the seat...

The ChromeGlow fork turns really clean up the front end and are super bright.
