Thanks to all for your support.

Doc gave me a clean bill of health...told me to take a day or two off though, said I'd be sore as hell. No f'in joke! It's hard just moving my fingers, much less the rest of my body.

And, yes, the dude stopped and was very...contrite. He's been fully cooperative, already reported to insurance and all. Probably a good thing, the techs are advising me that if the swing arm and/or frame have suffered damage that it would be best to total the bike. I have no intention of settling with major structural repair. My truck duck walks, but it's a truck...no way I want to ride my scoot sideways down the road...

Thanks again, gonna go sleep some more.

P.S. Thanks for the heads up on the "Back Off" Gar, going to grab one...

Bummer on this one too! Glad you made it through alright. I'm like DJ, bail if at all possible. I got broadsided one time by a car passing the car behind me as I turned left on my bike....luckily saw the car and just jumped straight up off the pegs.......landed on the hood of the car then fell in front of it as it was stopping........almost rolled over me.

Glad to hear you are ok. The back off module Gar posted is good cheap insurance. I've had them on all my bikes and I really do think they help.
Get some rest and take care.
