Thanks all, I'm not sure what happen, I was taking a slight left on the rode and hit a wet spot doing about 30 mph on an unlit road. Next thing I know the bike was on the side of the rode a I was pacing back in forth with a dislocated shoulder an fractured arm. All I can remember was thinking aim for the grass it'll be less damage. People stopped to see what they could do to help, they were great people and I wish I were in the mind set to get their names. One was a radiologist and the other was a nurse...the nurse worked in the labor and delivery room so she said she was of no help but I don't think she realized how much of a help she truly was. You gotta love the good samaritans.

Now it's 130 am and I can't sleep and the OxyContin they gave me is not enough. I've only felt pain one other time in my life worst than this. I think I'm more heart broken over my bike than I am about my health right now. My wife says I came out of sedation crying about the damage to my baby

Jwood - sorry man I've been in Africa for the past two weeks and suffering from some wicked jet lag...if you and Mike don't have anything going on this weekend and I get to feeling better you guys should come over and have a beer or something...my treat

Sorry to hear... between leaves on the road (especially wet) and people just not expecting to see bikes this time of year in cooler areas (just like spring) it can be a dangerous time to be riding.

Hope you heal quickly... and get back on the road in the spring!

So sorry to hear about your accident. Atleast you're still here and should be able to heal up alright. Take care of yourself and getting feeling better soon!

Was thinking the same thing, all the leaves on corners can be a deadly combination. Sorry to hear this, get well soon.
