doctorgary's - Ultra Blue Spider Fury
Gidday from Oz. Well how about a Fury from Down Under this month? You guys in the U.S. are so lucky to be able to get parts and accessories so easily (and at the right price!). Much harder (and a LOT more expensive) here in Oz. Anyway, here is my list of mods so far……
Roadhouse Lightning Strikes Pipes; Cobra PowrFlo Air Intake System; Cobra Fi2000R Fuel Processor; Honda Front Spoiler; Webslinger Speedo Face; Irate Web Radiator Grille; Breakaway Throttle Control; Chrome Engine Inserts, Chrome Engine Covers, Chrome Master Cylinder, Chrome Switch covers, Chrome Clutch Pedestal Mount; Chrome Dip Stick; Chrome Fork Nuts; ISO Grips, Widow Footpegs; Chrome Zombie Brake & Clutch Levers; Honda Sissy Bar and Spider Backrest; Spear Mirrors; LED Deep Dish Turn Signals; Brake Light Modulator; Healtech Gear Indicator; Lowered Rear End; Chopped Rear Plate Mount; De-Honderised and Re-badged as “FURY”; LED body highlights, Spider Web Pin Striping over Ultra Blue. (NOS is coming SOON!)

International Contest
And so we have a warm "Hello" from Europe.. lets make an international contest!
We in europe have still the same problem as the guy's in "down under" as we Australia named here.. Parts are rare and expensive - it seems so much easyer to customize a Harley as a Fury. And so i was constained to build by myself.
I'm working in the computer business - so the work on my bikes is still my hobby - in my job i've nothing to do with customizing bikes or so. It's still a classic garage build .
Basis: VTX 1300 CX ABS Model 2010 (the german modell name for Fury) stock black with silver wheels)
The parts or changes:
- self build steel front Fender
- self build steel rear fender
- rebuild seat (self made)
- mirror polished (down tubes) fork with 1" fork extenders
- polished switch covers
- striped front electric cabels (heat tube insted the big stock tube)
- lower idle speed screw – self build (round about 700 r/pm - like a Harley)
- integrated turn / break / rear lights at the rear fender
- front turn in the handle bar
- speedo mask low/ mean Skulls
- steel brake line at the front (with longer ABS cable)
- paintet wheels / cardan / lamp
- side mounted plate
- side mounted bag
- big short full stainless steel exhaust
- Küryakin grips and footpads
- north coast mirros
- powder coated side stand
- powder coated crosses at the Motor
the next step will be to put the komplete wiring into the handle bar - so it will be much more clean at the front.. and i hope a lower custom backspring will be in the post next week..
Kind regrads from Germany
Dirk

Furychopper, your ride looks pretty sweet. I noticed your swing is pretty shiny, is it chrome also?
It looks like another tough month to pick a winner. I love seening the new things you guys are trying on here.
germanfury, that took some thought and really changes the look of the bike.

Germanfury, Thanks for the compliments.....i installed a Sumo X 250 Fat Tire Kit. The wheel & swingarm are polished adn not chrome. That was a cost saver, but still looks nice. I used Mothers Metal Polish to bring out the shine. I've got more to do and of course it all costs too much. Who cares I look good rolling down the two lane.
Getting ready to install a new front wheel, air intake, motor cover kit, forward conrols, new front bullet turn signals and some other small stuff.
Overall, I think its turned out pretty good. I love my exhaust....its LOUD!
Your bike looks totally different with the rear fender. Good Luck with the contest!
Kendall

Very nice job, really liking what you have done with the bike so far. The only two things I can see off hand that need some work is that the rear fender sticks up off the rear tire quiet a bit, which I know you talked about a lowering spring, gonna look good after that's installed. And the second thing is a new grill, don't know if you have a way to make those or if you are going to buy one, but Irate has some very nice ones. Good luck!
