The shop I am using is booked and if I cancel I may need to wait six or seven weeks to get back in! I NEED THOSE TREES BASED ON YOUR ORIGINAL DATE! You gotta have one there some where?

Hey, We will do our best, you guys got to know this by now. If I had trees on the shelf I would gladly send them to you, but we do not. I have put in a call and email to see if we can rush one for you. But don't get your hope up. Remember we had this thing all planned out and set dates and delayed the dates for a few to jump in on the deal. We offer 50/50 and have ate some of the cost on the brake line because we didn't meet the final number, just so you guys could get the best price.
We will do everything we can and wish you a Happy New Year at the same time!!

Sorry for the rude post but literally a few hours before I saw your up date post I was talking to the dealer and arguing with him about how he is going to try and ask for more money.
He is doing this by trying to use my own bike as leverage against me because they have already removed the parts for the mods and it is sitting. He is trying to charge me $300 for storage if they don't have the parts by the 10th to start assembling because according to them they have a tight schedule?
I know you will try but I have decided if they try to charge me I will go and get my bike and the parts and take it else where.
But avoiding that would be better.

damn dude. I would seriousely look for another shop. Mine sat at the shop I use for 3 months last winter and I didn't get charged 1 penny for them keeping it there. Year I paid out the ass for all the work I was getting and stuff but they finished the bike a good month before I actually went and paid the balance and picked it up. In this economy they should be happy you used them at all instead of using the very good walkthrough Low and Mean did and doing it yourself.

jeez, from fuggin pipes to seats to whatever, i have never seen more gullible people than some of the tough talking guys on this forum.

it's your money for crying out loud.

you buy pipes and then wait past 30 days to pull the trigger on a credit card refund.
you buy seats from an untested source.
now a bike sits, parts scattered and there's a threat to charge 'rent'.

Someone's gotta tell you boys--daddy loves ya but jeezie weezies--you guys deserve what happens to you if you're going to disrespect your hard earned money by tossing it at the first stranger that sticks out his hand.

I mean no disrespect to anyone, but start thinking before you flash the plastic this year.

Two things,
We have waited more then 30 days for our trees from L&M. So even though you make a good point, it does depend on the circumstances.
I thought that the Honda shop would be a good place to get the work done and not take it in the rear!
They got me by the balls!
I cant take the bike or parts untill I pay for what little work they have done to date.
Sometimes you have gotta trust people. If we didn't then none of us would be buying and selling to each other.

I sold my fender and fender cover to scoutmonster.
VERY SIMPLE! All today! HE PAID VIA PAYPAL, I VERIFIED PAYMENT, I PACKED HIS GOODS, I WENT TO UPS, HE HAD TRACKING #s TWO HOURS AFTER HE PAID ME!! THAT'S ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE PEOPLE!
Shit I even ate $15 on the deal because I was un sure of shipping costs and under charged him. My fault! Not his! So you don't screw the buyer people! You eat it and learn for the next time! THAT'S GOOD BUSINESS!
