since a lot of us are going to be jumping on the reaper front fender i thought this thread might be helpful for some of us.

has anybody had any issues with the new bolts that L&M has provided???

or should we be heading to home depot?

I've had the front reaper fender on my bike for over a year now since day one when the fender came out and have had no issues.

I understand there has been a few issues, personally I think it's due to a few bad bolts from our supplier. 99% of the time this has not been an issue. Here's a little more info on the bolts we use.
"Made from Type 316 stainless steel, these fully threaded DIN 933-A4 screws are more corrosion resistant than 18-8 stainless steel screws and contain molybdenum, which increases resistance to chlorides and sulfates. Also known as tap bolts, they have a Class 6g thread fit and may be mildly magnetic. All have a minimum tensile strength of 101,500 psi but are not rated for hardness."
We have been using this bolt for the past 6 years with good success, but I understand that the track record on this forum has not been good with a couple of members.
We will continue to use these bolts with Lock washers and will be offering 243 Loctite with all fenders. We hope this resolves the issues, but if not we will continue to improve on the hardware to avoid any further issues.
Thanks for your understanding!
LM

my issue was the gummy little bushings. My faucet washers are still holding up just fine.

Default Bushings

did you keep the brake line bracket or not? and if so will this be a problem like others had keeping the bracket and using bushings on one side only?

Nope, IMO there was no reason to keep it.
