Low and Mean Front Reaper eating front tire
My fender has been fine but was racing a Harley today smokin him for a bit till I started to hear a humming and smell ruber burning so pulled off. Rubber bits piled up on the front of the fender. Not sure if my spacing or what is off just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I was around 90 when it happened.

I would...
1. Check your fender bolts to make sure they are tight.
2. Check your tire pressure

Sounds like to me that there is not enough space between the fender and the tire. Ever watched Drag racing when they do their burn out. The tire narrows up and grows in height with speed. You just got to slow down. You don't need to humiliate the HARLEY just beat the sh-t out of it.

You know I just put my reaper fender on a couple weeks ago and after I thought I was done with the install I decided to lightly push on the fender and the damn thing moved!!
Few more turns of the wrench and it still moved. I kept tightening a couple turns at a time until it would not move! actually cracked the F**KIN paint around the bolt holes!
May have loosened up on ya and drooped back?

How thick is the fender? When mrbyber was talking about pushing on the fender and it moved, the whole fender moved like bolt not tight or just flex from being thin? I've been looking at a few custom fender options and now it seems like I have something to watch out for.
And you guys need to quit picking on them poor harley guys. It's bad enough no one likes them, you all got to go and make life even worse for them! Heh

Make sure you have the fender on straight, this is the FIRST THING I pointed out when I got one of the first fenders by L & M... also, use loctite on the screw/bolts... probably came a little loose...

The bolts were not tight enough.

Watch for loose rock or pea gravel!
I had the reaper fender but sold mine to Painter.
I was worried about loose gravel always getting in there. And pot holes we have them EVERYWHERE!
The stock fender does a good job of rattlin' stones in it now I here them when e ever I hit loose gravel
be careful with the reaper over stones
