Thanks for friending me. I have a friend now. I will post some pics as soon as I figure it out. I am sure we will cross paths. I am really new to all this and am learning pretty fast. As a matter of fact, a friend and I will be riding to Grantsville this weekend when it gets a little warmer

Haha! Was i ever silly!!! The pipes are amazing now! I guess after they put the power commander it made her rally touchy on the throttle. But pullin baffles only made her sound like she could " back her $%-+ up" hahaha!! I'll send u a pic of my intake. My hubby put leds inside it. I love the lookfrom the front a night.
Take care of that shoulder. U got a rotator cuff tear or what? Hear they can be pretty painful. Has ur doc got u doing exercises with a long rubber band or anything?? Or seeing a physical therepist? Sorry, just a nosy nurse here. I specialize in orthopedics! Keep me posted Pam! :)

Hope all is well with you. Thanks so much for helping me bresk outta my shell. :)
My hubby brought my bike home from the dealership yesterday. She got her first service at 1000 milrs. Anyway, they pulled the baffles out of my pipes. My lord! If loud pipes save lives, I'm riding in a tank! Positively obnoxious! My hubby was glowin like a new daddy! Now I'm a little nervous abt riding her! I noticed a huge difference when they installed the pipes and Fi2000, i just hope her rides as smooth as she did. We never pulled the baffles on my 650. Kept it totally stock. The loud pipes are intimidating me!! Anyway, hope all went well at the dr's appointment.. Nothin but prayers and well wishes coming your way!

Hello!! :) I was soo excited to hear from another LADY rider! Yes, i believe we truly have the crown jewels as far as colors go. Although, mines getting painted this winter, I'll always be a Pearl girl..lol...I had a question for ya. I've been wanting to ask for a while, but seeong as I'm in that "junior" status I feel like a silly prospect that needs to be spoken to first. Guess its a respect thing. Anyway, do you ever have the problem of people wanting to talk to your Husband about your bike instead of you? It happens to me all the time. I just strike it up as ball-busting cause i never had that problem with my 650.

Good afternoon. I noticed, seems like hardly anyone is posting on "the pearl" page. Just wondering if it's worth to post there anymore.

Yeah, I remember those words. Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping my wrist feels better in the morning. Right now it is mainly uncomfortable. I'm supposed to go with a MC member tomorrow for some more experience. I think I'll keep my banged up intake on until after our session. I don't think I'll need any parts yet. I might be able to make the cracked rear cylinder top cover work until some time later. Many thanks for your concern.

    Hiii Pam,
Well, I got a pic up of my bike. It's 95% done. It's at the seat maker right now, getting a custom seat made. Believe it or not, I hadn't rode it since I brought it home in Jan. until this past Saturday. So after many months of working on it, I finally got to ride for the first time, and what a teaser that was. I didn't even notice how cold it was, I was too excited...... and nervous. I rode it around a few times in the subdivision and then my bf rode it to the seat maker an hour plus away. So there it sits, getting a new seat. Once I get it back, I'll post more pics. I just want it done. I can't stand it anymore.

Nice, u know cars as well as bikes? I'm not the only woman? Sometimes it seems as if I am. Your guess is close. It's a 76 firebird almost ready for paint. It's been in my Bf's garage for many years and a couple years ago he finally got serious about restoring it. Lots & lots of hours but most of the grunt work is done.
Well it's good to have friends and its even better to have some that are other women. Thanks for the F Request.
