Hi Clueless,
Is there any chance you know what the AC voltage output of a Fury stator should be?
When I check resistance, I get .5 ohms on each wire at about 27C or 81F (spec says .2 to .4 at 20C or 68F)
At idle the AC voltage is 3.5 and it increases to 4 when I rev it up to maybe 2,000 rpm but I'm guessing on that since I don't have a tach. (I'm using the 200V setting on my multimeter). I didn't see any voltage output specs in my service manual.
I have a new regulator coming as that is what my dealer diagnosed but I am also wondering if the stator readings above are also too far out of spec? Not sure what the life expectancy of these components should be but I have just under 110,000KM or 70,000 miles.
I don't know if this is your area of expertise, but you seem to be the most knowledgeable on here about the workings of the Fury.
Thanks a lot for any help!
