The bolts that connect to the pipes on the mounting hardware, suggest trading them out with some other bolts from home depot as well, something with a locking nut as one of the bolts came free after riding a couple months with it.

Other than that, am very pleased with the Samson sounds... when you add a Fuel Controller to it, (don't need one necessarily at first, until you buy an aftermarket breather) it makes it sound a little louder and deeper in my opinion... Any other questions, just let me know.

I have even had somebody put their shoe on my pipe and rode with their shoe on it for a few miles, rubber was hard to clean off of heat shield, but after some mother's chrome polish, looked almost good as new.

    Sound of Samson's:

Pro's of the Samson Exhaust... Nice sound to it, more like a deep growl or rumble. Not too loud though, but louder than the Cobra's. Also, the pipes are a little further away from the passenger pegs than the Cobra, but when you sit on it... makes up the difference (keeping passenger happy with their feet). Chrome is long lasting (unless you accidentally hit a speed bump, but that is to be expected with that kind of incident...). Polishes up good, as far as the chrome.

Little close to the side removable panel that is under the rider seat, but panel is still removable. Mounting bracket is not cut correctly from factory, you will have to make the holes one size bigger in order for it to fit properly and easily (I used a Unibit). Also, the bolts and hardware that come with the pipes seem to be standard sizes and not metric, either that or they just sent the wrong thread pattern. Just used the stock bolt and 1 aftermarket bolt I bought at home depot to mount it.

Didn't you tell me you have xoprodox grips? According to their website, they have a referral program going on. I'm planning to place an order soon that will qualify for the program, so if you give me the "Referral I.D." number (found on sales orders, invoices & packing lists) I'll use it when I place my order and you'll get a gas card or something.
