Yea i know eventually if i bought a fury i could put that 250 kit on. My chopper has the spirit 750 motor. It just got built this august, bike was in the amd championships in sturgis,sd and in its first ever local bike show in michigan it took 1st place. So im proud of it but i want a bigger motor, still a sweet looking bike and a everyday rider that my wife can ride on.

Welcome Customshadow, Thanks for the pics, that is a sweet ride! I don't think you would be disappointed with the stryker or the Fury, it's really what ever appeals to you. I think the look of Fury has a more of a custom chopper look because of the frame and its design, as compared to other factory bikes, that seem to me have a custom street bike look,as for me the shaft drive is the best way to go, and keep in mind the Fury is limited to 100 mph, unlike other bikes, not a problem for me but for some it has been a concern. Low and Mean is also making some cool stuff for the Stryker if you go that route.

Search the forum (search tab). There was an article posted few months ago about a well know motorcycle magazine article comparing the Fury to the Stryker. If I recall, the Fury won hands down. Welcome to the Forum....

Well went to the local honda shop today and sat on a burgandy 2011 fury. Gotta say it feels real comfy. Only question i have for you guys is the shaft drive. I rode an old shadow like 85 that was shaft driven and hated it. Felt like you wear floating up and down. The guy at the dealer said the fury doesnt do that and it was real smooth. Is this true?

True! It is very smooth, I test rode 1/2 dozen bikes till I rode the 2010 Fury. It was truly love at 1st ride, I went back to the dealer and got a 2011 Pearl White one and the rest is a on going love affair!!

Default Stryker vs. Fury

Yes the stryker has a more rake stock. The Fury has a longer Wheel base. Yes the Fenders are steel rather than plastic. The Fury "plastic" fenders are more stylish and 'one-off' looking.

The Stryker is wider thus has a more comfortable back seat stock than the Fury. So, if it's a dual-ride or Bagger-type bike your looking for I'd go with the Yamaha. The Fury is a "chopper" not road-hugger... handling isn't the Fury's thing. The Fury is about turning heads... dropping jaws and spreading the wings of the butterfly's... if you know what I mean?

oh... sh*t another "black-bunch" member... lmao. I hope you buy a Fury that way I can remind you how close you came to buying a damn Yamaha! lmao-jk.

Keep the questions coming... sometimes we get little complacent with our Fury's in here... it's good to have these little reminders about the outside junk that's still being bought.

Only thing i wish the fury had was a bigger tire and more rake. The sumo kit is way to expensive and they 8* degree rake kit isnt bad.
Have you get your Fury yet? We need few more people on the 8* trees group buy
