Default Hello from North Texas

Hello everyone:

I'm a proud owner of a white 2011 honda fury (I'll get some pics up soon). I've been riding for about 3 years.

Anyone have any feedback on the +2 seats that are offered out there?

Welcome drummer, I look forward to seeing some pics, I still ride the stock seat so I'm no help there, but what the heck... enjoy the ride!

Welcome! I am also in North Texas. There are a lot of options out there. It depends on your taste and what kind pf riding you will be doing. Will you have a passenger? Do you plan on doing mostly long distance riding? Are you looking for a low seat pan?

Default Texas

Welcome, personally I have a Mustang. I haven't heard of any "bad" seats so... with that said it's all about personal preference, affordability and style.

ps- when you guys say "north-texas" I assume you mean North of Dallas? The reason I ask is because Amarillo is just 2.5 hours from me.

Hey everyone .. Thanks for the welcome and not all the cliche' Suck it Noob" crap from other websites...lol

I just bought my fury 2 days ago... I know I'm going to need to "fit it" to me because I'm 5'6" but I have a 28 inch inseam.. I do have a bit of a time reaching the shifter and brake.. Handle bars are fine though.... I have seen the C& C seats and they look pretty well made but I wonder if the cost would just be cheaper to have some upholstery shop just add some padding on the seat instead of ordering a new one?

I have alot of stuff to read up on here. I plan on aftermarket exhaust. some sort of custom air cleaner, some sort of fuel management controller and the wide tire kit on the back for the 250mm.

Also for the "North Texas" question... I'm about 10 minutes out of Denton.
