Welcome to the group!! We're starting to get quite a few people from the San Diego area. I'm thinking that one of us should head up a group ride..... I live in the North Park area. I agree, politically the state is totally f'd up, but I have never been anywhere else in the U.S. that's as nice and convenient to live. Just wish it was a little cheaper here so I could spend more $$$ on my bike!!!

Thanks for all the welcomes! I moved here 20+ years ago, met someone, made little ones, now I can't afford to leave. Came here from Texas (Ft. Worth primarily, Austin for school), but have lived in Ohio, Nebraska, and Hawaii.
I'm heading to the dealer tomorrow, armed with everyone's advice and well wishing. Hopefully this dealer won't drag out the wait too long, I do want it, but don't want to get taken either. Pics to follow, for certain.

Just get a post going on when you are getting a ride together and I am in. I live in Carlsbad and can travel South via the Beach to get in your area.
