I got my fury a couple of weeks ago and been reading some really cool stuff in this forum so I thought I could share with you guys my new project
So far I've put in Matte black cobra exhaust, Back seat and rest, fender eliminator kit with integrated turn signals, lighted side license plate bracket, Kuryakyn grips.
Here are a few pics, any ideas would be welcome.
I've also seen the front spoiler and I think it looks really nice, other than the one Honda sells, any other ideas?
The daylight pic yes... I went home and installed the fender eliminator kit that day.
I will need to install load resistors, because I didn't know about the fast blinking issue (noob mistake), luckily this forum got me the answer and I just ordered them.
Also, I have a set of mirrors with integrated turn signals coming too
Load resistors are not the best option... You can buy an LED flasher that will eliminate the hyper flashing and you don't have to cut any wiring or worry about the resistors getting hot. Just FYI.
I've never used load resistors, are they simply inline on the power circuit? If so, some replacement wire, solder, shrink tube, wire strippers and away you go.
Ok, just looked at some installation images for load resistors. So they go between the two wires. Are they tapped into the wires with quick locks? Or is it soldered in? Quick locks you can take off and then put some tape over the wire where it was.
Welcome to the Fury family, sounds like the mod bug already got you lol, I've got a Paul oberhiem scoop, can't remember who's selling them for him, but I love it, enjoy the ride

That looks sooo sexy! Seems like I just got a new add-on in mind
I just ordered the turn signal relay and a bushing to fix my license plate side mount bracket, it wasn't staying tight, and I was afraid I might loose it.
Thanks for the info, guys! I appreciate the help!
P.S: it was 75F in Memphis today, pretty weird for this time of the year, but pretty awesome to take the fury out on a spin!
welcome i am new to i brought my fury in November but they are storing it for me the weather is breaking i hope to pick it up soon and go for my first ride on a fury i live in the north never Boston.
After a heated match, and even though the stripped bolt was a formidable opponent I have defeated the little bastard!
Thank you, Easy-Out!!!! (I figured it was worth a shot, when I made another trip to Lowe's and voilá!)
I was able to successfully put the clicker relay, and now my turn signals blink at stock speed
Also, I was able to mount and wire the license plate bracket with the help of a mounting bushing sold by meancycles.com.
Next project: Front turn signals (I got some matte black ones), and I'm thinking about a new LED headlight... I'm trying to go for an all matte black look on the bike.
P.S: Attached is the victory pic, and one of the finished project.
P.S2: now, I have to take it to a machine shop to get the threads re-tapped, as they were cross threaded like mofo.....
Nice work getting it out.
Before you have a machine shop go in there, I would spend the $10 bucks on a tap and try to chase the threads out yourself. If the engineers did their job right, the threads in the bracket should be harder than the threads on the bolt. It probably smashed the bolt threads to high hell, but I would hope the bracket threads held up to the point where chasing them out would eliminate any roll-over from the major diameter of the thread or pieces of the bolt threads getting in there. If not, it was REALLY guerrilla'd.
I think I feel more comfortable having a professional do it.. there is another bolt that I think it's the same way, so I didn't put the bolt back in to prevent the same scenario from happening again.
I ordered new bolts from Honda, so I would much rather get it done right.
