Wanted C90, Bought new Fury instead

Just got my 2017 Fury yesterday and love it. Not my first Honda, but first bike I've owned with a 1+Liter engine. Was considering a Honda Phantom or M50, but started thinking it was time for something a little larger for my lengthy commutes. Planned to look at a C90 I saw listed on Dealer's site, and then I walked through the front door and saw the black 2017 Fury and knew I would be riding it home.

Congrats! I had considered an M109R prior to getting mine but the transmission horror stories steered me away.. so glad

Everyone loves the black Fury's! Great choice of color. Enjoy it. As for long commutes, well that's a different story!

I know what you mean - Goldwing probably would've been a more comfortable choice, but I just couldn't help myself. Besides, our parking lot at work already has a yellow Goldwing in it nearly every day and I just wanted to be different. Have only ridden the Fury about 25 miles so far, but don't think the seat is nearly as uncomfortable as it looks. Actually feels a lot better to me than the seat on my brother's 2016 Vulcan 900 Custom.

Cool

Welcome Puddintane,
Enjoy the bike and forum.
10 miles is my limit before I start squirming. Get about 40 on an Astech recovered L&M seat. The longer I ride on it the better it gets: Made it across Angeles Crest Highway recently.
