i removed my air cleaner to make accessing the f/i connectors easier.
no biggie. the instruction sheet is real clear--
To add to Skap's message, the non-CA model is the Fi2000R, Cobra P/N 92-1633 ... here

There are four connectors on the Fi2000R considered 2 pairs.
One pair connects in-line with the front cylinder injector, the other pair to the rear cylinder injector.
1. You unplug the connector on the front cylinder and plug it INTO the female connector of the longer lead on the Fi2000R. You then plug the male connector of the Fi2000R pair into the front cylinder injector female socket.
2. Then, you do the same thing with the rear injector male into the other pair's female connector ... plugging the remainder male plug into the rear cylinder injector's socket.

You're basically putting the Fi2000R in the loop between the original injector leads and their respective injectors.

So it's:
Original Front Injector lead -> Fi2000R socket A -> Fi2000R -> Fi2000R plug A - Front Injector.
Original Rear Injector lead -> Fi2000R socket B -> Fi2000R -> Fi2000R plug B - Rear Injector.

it got run over.... twice. as far as i can remeber i think i guy backed over it with his truck. really mangled the thing up. which is why the flat silver on their bike is different than everyone elses. they couldnt replicate it or didnt want to.

the majority of the rear end was destroyed. all the moving parts still worked but the fender / stealth light / side mount and shit were trashed.
