Visit To Raw Design
So i just went out to the Raw Design shop yesterday to pick up my Reaper Tips. Had a great experience Justin showed me around and unfortunately the epic damage to thier "franken-fury" after the daytona accidents. I was really impressed with the operation and quality of these tips. They sound incredible for what they are. If you havent given them consideration in the past you should look to them for current and furture innovations. quality parts of nice people.

I had at one time gave those reaper tips a consideration but then became obsessed with the looks of them as they are smaller than the rest of the exhaust or at least look like it from the pictures of them I seen, and sat a little to low on the swingarm than what I would have liked. me personally I think that if a pipe is going to be back by the swingarm that I want it to cover the swingarm as much as possible, but that's just my opinion. they did sound great from the youtube video I seen of them, but I will consider them for other mods that I want to do later on, thanks for the post.

that is where the chrome swing arm cover from raw comes in real nice. they are the same size as the rest of the stock pipe and sounds real mean with no baffles

Reaper Tips
Hey captain, gotta agree....they looked old school and sounded badass..so I ordered them. They shipped really fast. Thought the job of getting them on would be easy. argggg! Those collars are a tad to small in circum. I spent the day grinding and sanding. I love the reaper tips, but the collar needs to be a little bigger. I cant wait to see what tips RAW comes out with next. A quick noob question??? Can I run it without baffles w/o a fuel control????????

Damn! That's a great price. Just spent $190 just two weeks ago 'cause I run my Cobras w/o baffles and changed the air intake.
Ace - you should jump on that price, no sh!t

BTW....is there a walk thru thread on installing the controller or just lump it and take it to the experts at the shop?

The controller is the easiest install out there, IMHO.
Here's the thread on whether you need the controller or not:
mbl
As well as posting your mods (pipes or intake or both) so you can dial in the proper settings on the module.

Just FYI the fi2000 carb doesn't have setting. It regulates fuel at certain throttle positions. It was designed for the California model

i've got the non-Ca Fi2000 from cobra. easy install. on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being hardest, it's a 4.
let us know when it's ready for the install--we'll walk you through it.
i removed my air cleaner to make accessing the f/i connectors easier.
no biggie. the instruction sheet is real clear--
