Default Shorty Steve Fatal Accident Details

I want to keep this post OUT of the threads in which well wishes, prayers and memories are being posted.

Here is just one short article regarding Steve's accident ...
Police investigate fatal motorcycle accident in Craven County - News14.com

Here is another, claiming "fog may have been a factor" ...
Fog May Have Been Factor In Deadly Motorcycle Crash

For those of you who want to know "why?!", let's keep the details, if any, in this thread.

I'm still having trouble with this news. I was hoping to wake up today and find out yesterdays news was just a bad dream.

I read and re-read that article many times ... it's sad.

And, I know people are angry ... I am, too ... but here's this guy "Newark" who tried to administer CPR to Shorty Steve after the wreck. No matter if this guy is a regular idiot or possibly an incredibly nice guy all the time who just make one of the worst moves of his life ... he's gotta carry this forever - that he killed someone.

Not trying to take away anything from the memory of Shorty Steve. I just wish EVERYONE could read this article and realize that not only are motorcyclists susceptible to death in almost any accident, drivers of cars are susceptible to becoming killers when they don't pay attention ... and, therefore, there's a lot of pain and grief all parties will have to carry when one does something stupid.
