Default Steve's service today

I want to thank each and every one of you for all of the beautiful and kind things about Steve. His service was wonderful today--such an outpouring of love and thoughts. I thank WildBill for representing those of you who could not be there. I truly feel as though I have found a new 'family'. Steve touched so many lives. I have always know what a great man he was, but these last few days, even more so. Even though he wasn't one for pomp & circumstance, I know he smiled down on everything and appreciated every minute of it. It was Steve's wish to be creamated and have his ashes scattered in the ocean. My son is personal friends with the owner of the Bogue Inlet Pier on Emerald Isle and they will be more than happy to shut down the king deck for a scattering ceremony. It won't be right away--his family wants to be here. I will keep all of you posted. Those who would like to attend will be welcomed with open arms and hearts. The flowers that 460 sent on behalf of the forum were lovely. I would be honored to remain a member of this forum ( even though I don't ride ) and stay friends with all of you. God Bless each and every one of you. Have a blessed nite.

Thank you Mary and thank you Wild Bill! Thanks also for the invitation to the spreading of Steve's ashes.

You ever watch that movie with Sandra Bullock, The Blind Side? Remember the scene where she wants to adopt him and asks him if he wants to be a member of the family? His response was "I thought I already was." Same applies to you....you are a full fledged member of this forum = so you gotta take it for what it's worth!!!!!!

Mary, I think I speak for most members here, when I say everytime we climb on our bikes, thoughts of Steve will pass through our minds. He will always be with us. You are a member of this brotherhood.
